Exhibition: What Matters Here.?!
Included in the show are a collection of photographs and audio recordings commissioned by Spackman Mossop Michaels Landscape Architecture firm, through the Environmental Protection Agency 2024 Community Change Grant.
In partnership with the team at Spackman Mossip Michaels, this body of work explores the connection between climate change and personal identity. Our goal was to listen—to truly hear how environmental issues have woven themselves into the lives and communities of those affected. A crucial takeaway from talking to members of these communities was how important the concept of "home" truly is and how it is intricately linked to our identities. The fragility under environmental pressures affects not only our immediate well-being but also reverberates across generations.
These disruptions are sometimes subtle, their impacts surfacing not in the moment but years later. These photographs seek to capture and convey these nuances, reflecting on the unseen yet profound ways in which environmental factors shape our lives, our communities, and our collective future.

Exhibition: Tackle Box
Tackle Box explores the utilitarian nature of leisure in our Southern climate. Beneath the familiar refrains of ‘Sportsman’s Paradise’ — the whip of a fishing line, the gurgle of engines, the chorus of croaks and calls — we confront the eternally flat and unnerving state of the delta landscape while finding comfort in the pastimes of our shared environment.
The Louisiana landscape is like a wall.
So flat you loose perspective.
So dense you see mere inches,
In front of you.
It swallows you.
Suffocates you.
Unnerves you.
And comforts you.
